UH Mānoa Honors student wins Portz Prize, second year in a row!
Brandy Dobson, Spring 2017 English graduate, has been named one of four national Portz Prize winners by the National Collegiate Honors Council. Brandy’s paper was based on her Honors English creative thesis, titled: “A Murmur in the Weeds: A Memoir,” which deals with topics of family trauma, abuse, obligation and love. Honors Student Receives National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship
Leo Louis, a Summer 2017 Honors Botany candidate, has been accepted into the MS/PhD program at Cornell, with three years of guaranteed funding from the NSF.
