Hawaiian Language Online
The Hawaiian language uses two diacritical markings: the ʻokina and kahakō (macron). The UH Mānoa templates were created so Hawaiian diacriticals display correctly in the following browsers:
- Firefox: all versions
- Internet Explorer: 5, 6, 7 & 8 for Windows
- Opera
- Safari: Windows and Mac OS X
- Google Chrome
To use Hawaiian diacriticals, insert the corresponding code in the HTML code.
