Spring 2013 Tuition & Fees (Subject to Change)
All tuition and fee charges at the University of Hawaiʻi campuses are subject to change in accordance with requirements of State law and/or action by the Board of Regents or the University administration. Your tuition is based on the number of credit hours for which you enroll, according to the rates outlined below (subject to change).
Students enrolled in one credit of applied music will be assessed a fee of $55.00; those enrolled in two or more credits will be assessed a fee of $90.00.
Students enrolled in studio art courses, regardless of the number of studio art courses, will be charged a single $35.00 flat fee per semester. Students enrolled in studio art courses (Art Studio Core, Ceramics, Drawing/Painting, Digital Media, Exhibition Design, Fiber, Glass, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture) will also be assessed a laboratory fee ranging from $35.00 to $340.00 per course.
Students enrolled in selected natural science courses (Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Information and Computer Sciences, Microbiology, and Zoology) will be assesssed a laboratory fee ranging from $25.00 to $100.00 per course.
If you are enrolled in only one credit of a Dissertation 800 course and are classified as a nonresident, please notify the UH Cashier's Office to adjust your tuition before paying your bill. Your tuition and fees for this course will be charged at the resident rate. If you enroll in other courses, your tuition will be based on the nonresident tuition rate for all classes enrolled.
Note: Tuition for Outreach College extension courses is additional and paid separately from your regular UH Mānoa "day" school tuition. Visit www.outreach.hawaii.edu for additional Outreach College payment information.
