Certain university offices may place a hold on your account to prevent you from registering, making registration changes (e.g., adding courses), or accessing enrollment and other services like transcripts, diplomas, etc. This usually occurs if you have not fulfilled certain requirements such as financial obligations, health clearance, academic advising, etc.
- Login to MyUH
- Select View Holds
- The phone number of the office that placed the hold should be listed under the Originator box
- Contact the office indicated to determine the steps needed to clear and remove your hold
Note: If you clear a financial hold online, you must contact the office that placed the hold to have the hold removed from your account. Review Financial Holds for a list of common financial holds and contact information.
If you are newly-accepted, re-admitted (returning), or a transfer student, you must meet all health clearance requirements that were requested in your acceptance letter. You cannot register for classes until all health requirements have been met. Visit Health Clearance Form for more information. Health Clearance Form submission deadlines are July 15 for the Fall semester and December 2 for the Spring semester.
