Closed Section

You may add yourself to the electronic waitlist for selected classes while registering online, if there's space on the waitlist at that time. The number of waitlist seats is displayed in the column “Wait Avail” on the Check Class Availability website. Being on a waitlist does not guarantee registration in a class. If you are waitlisted for a class, you must check your UH email frequently to see if a seat becomes available. In the email notification, you will be given a deadline to register for the class in MyUH. If you miss the deadline, your seat will be given to the next person on the waitlist. Additional information can be found on the MyUH student tutorials page at http://myuhinfo.hawaii.edu/object/waitlistfaqs.html.
If the class you need does not have the option to waitlist (waitlists are not in effect when the semester begins), and you would like to request permission to enroll beyond the seat limit, you must contact the instructor and possibly the department offering the course to get approval to enroll. They will need to enter the Mānoa Closed Class Override code in order for you to register for this course. You must register for the course in MyUH using the Quick Registration/Add or Drop My Classes page. The Search and Register for Classes method cannot be used because it will display the affected course section as closed and not available for registration. Learn more about Error Messages Requiring Override Codes.
