Course Approvals to go Paperless!

We are pleased to announce that the Colleges of Education and LLL will pilot KSCM in Spring 2017

UH Mānoa will move from the current labor-intensive, paper-based UHM-form course approval process to one that is user-friendly, paperless, and transparent. Kuali Student Curriculum Management, or KSCM, will be implemented across the 10-campus UH System. At Mānoa, Education and LLL will pilot KSCM in Spring 2017.

Key features include:

  • Transparent approval process. Upon submission, users will be able to track proposals through the approval process.
  • Course modifications will begin with existing data, eliminating the need to search Banner for existing course information.
  • Search for courses. KSCM searches course titles and course descriptions. Program planning and course substitution will be much easier
  • Opportunities to collaborate. Share course proposals with your colleagues for input and collaboration.

Other units should use the Current UHM-form process. We hope to implement KSCM campus wide in Fall 2017.
