The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is the featured college campus in School Zone, a monthly lifestyle and fashion feature in Seventeen magazine. The May issue of the magazine featuring UH Mānoa is available in stores now.

Each month Seventeen visits a different college campus in the United States for a four-page feature highlighting what it's like to be a student at the university. School Zone covers student hotspots, fashion trends on campus, as well as the types of traditions that make a campus unique.

Nearly 400 UH students attended an open casting call in January for student models to participate in photo shoots around the Mānoa campus and student hotspots around Honolulu. More than 30 students were selected to participate in the shoot because of their unique fashion styles and enthusiasm about UH lifestyle and culture.

Behind-the-scenes photographs of the University of Hawaiʻi photo shoot can be viewed on the magazine‘s website, www.seventeen.com.
