The Associated Students of Honolulu Community College (ASUH-Honolulu CC) will be hosting a blessing of their newly renovated student government office. Students, faculty, staff and guests of the college are invited to attend.

WHEN/WHERE:
Thursday, September 13, 2012
3 – 5 p.m.
Building 2, Room 116

WHY:
“We spent the summer reconfiguring and organizing the office. It was important for the ASUH student staff to bring new, positive energy into this student friendly space,” shares Kaleo Gagne, the 2012-2013 ASUH-HCC President.

Kahu Richard Kamanu, Senior Pastor of Kaumakapili Church, will be conducting the blessing with a reception to follow. Other special guests will include Representative Karl Rhodes, Representative Faye Hanohano, and Senator Suzanne Chun-Oakland. All students, faculty, and staff are invited.

“We represent the student voice of Honolulu Community College. It is our responsibility to address their issues and concerns. We are committed to ensuring the success of all our students; helping them find their path at Honolulu,” Gagne shared.
