Professor Ho-min Sohn named recipient of Korea Foundation Award

The Korea Foundation Award was established in 2008 to honor individuals and organizations who have strived to promote awareness and a better understanding of Korea in the global community. The award recipient is chosen from nominees suggested by distinguished scholars and experts from all around the world and is selected by a committee composed of relevant experts.
The award recipient receives a commemorative plaque along with a prize of $10,000. The award was presented to Sohn at a ceremony in Seoul on December 15, 2011.
