Wednesday, October 19, is the deadline to apply for Spring 2012 UH Mānoa Undergraduate Political Internships.  These include ten Hawai‘i Legislative Internships, three internships in the offices of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor, and one in the County Prosecutor’s Office.  These internships are full time, award 15 credits, and carry a stipend of about $5,000 (in-state tuition plus incidental expenses).

The UH Mānoa Undergraduate Congressional Fellowships are in Washington, D.C.  Selected students are assigned full time to one of Hawai‘i’s four congressional offices.  The fellowships carry 15 hours of UH Mānoa upper division credits, and have a stipend to cover in-state tuition, air transportation, dorm costs and incidentals, about $12,000.

Applicants must be undergraduate degree candidates in good standing at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The program’s goal is to place the best of our UH Mānoa students in legislative and administrative offices to represent our campus.
