The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Performing Arts Center presents A Holiday Card to Hilo 2010 on Sunday, December 12 at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

“Take a break from the stress of the season to enjoy some of your favorite holiday music,” said PAC Manager Lee Dombroski. “The UH Hilo Symphony Orchestra will play excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Sleigh Ride, and feature original works by elementary students from Keaau Elementary, Kamehameha Schools and Haili Christian. UH Hilo’s Kāpili Choir, the Concert Choir, and the Symphony Orchestra will perform the world premiere of Tony Adam’s Another Merry Christmas as well as a special arrangement of Frosty the Snowman, commissioned by the symphony.

“As an extra special holiday offering, guest soloist Amy Yamasaki will join the symphony to perform excerpts from Handel’s Messiah,” she added.
