Contemporary Japanese immigration to be discussed on radio programUniversity of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa

Christine Yano, UH Mānoa anthropology professor, will host Ken Niimura on the call-in radio program, "Thinking Out Loud: Talking Issues, Taking Action," on Monday, June 21, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on 1210 AM KZOO. The topic of discussion: Shin issei and their place in the Japanese American community.
The program is sponsored by UH Mānoa's Center for Japanese Studies and College of Social Sciences, the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii, the Hawaiʻi Council for Humanities, and Barnes & Noble Bookstores.
