Mortar Board organizes October 24 benefit concert for Waikiki Health Center

The UH Mānoa Hui Po’okela chapter of the Mortar Board Honor Society presents “Music Mania!!!”—billed as an evening of community spirit and music to benefit the Waikīkī Health Center.
Enjoy an eclectic and lively mix of Hawaiian, classical, musical theater and jazz standards performed by UH Mānoa students, vocalist Momi Mahon, pianist Jevon Gegg-Mitchell, the Popoki Hawaiian Trio, the Mele Ho’aloha String Quartet, and special guest performer I-Bei Lin, associate professor of violincello at the UH Department of Music.
A Waikīkī Health Center mobile medical unit will also be on display. The portable medical office is part of Waikīkī Health Center’s community outreach, and provides medical care within underserved areas and to O‘ahu’s homeless population.
