ʻImiloa Astronomy Center to hold NASA workshop for teachers
University of Hawaiʻi at HiloʻImiloa Astronomy Center in collaboration with the NASA Education Outreach program invites teachers to partcipate in an out-of-this-world experience. The full-day, week-long workshop is being held July 7-11 from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (includes 1-hour lunch break). The registration fee is $50.
The NASA teacher training aims to provide teachers with tools for use during the next school year. Topics include Moon phases, Moon geology, living on the Moon, navigating: from the ocean to the stars and beyond.
