Students Schedule Walk to Promote Art

The Board of Student Publications of the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo and Hawaiʻi Community College has scheduled a gallery walk for 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 10 on the UH Hilo campus. The three-hour event, which begins at the Campus Center cafeteria, is designed to promote campus artwork by showcasing various works.

Highlights of the walk will include the two sculptures located outside the Campus Center, a student artwork display in the cafeteria, an invitational display in the Campus Center Gallery, selected pieces in the Library, and the mosaic in Edith Kanakaʻole Hall.

Student musicians will perform at various locations throughout the walk. Organizers will also provide pupus, sparkling cider and door prizes, (including Jim Kelly photographs) to participants. For more information, call Courtney Albin at 933-1907 or email
