HONOLULU — The University of Hawaiʻi has announced the selection of four development teams that will be invited to submit proposals for the West Oʻahu Campus-Phase I project. The submitted proposals will be evaluated by the university and one developer will be recommended to the UH Board of Regents for approval in April 2005.
On January 28, 2005, seven developers submitted Statements of Qualifications in response to the Request for Qualifications issued by the university for the project. Based on these submissions, the following development teams were selected:
· Actus Lend Lease LLC, teamed with A & B Properties, Inc. of Honolulu;
· Concord Eastridge, Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona;
· Hunt ELP, Ltd. of El Paso, Texas and Honolulu; and
· UniDev, LLC of Bethesda, Maryland.
The developers have formed teams with well established construction, architectural, financial and other firms from Hawaiʻi and the mainland.
