Come celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of Paradise Palms Café on Tuesday, August 28.  There’ll be food sampling, music from Island 98.5, and prize drawings every fifteen minutes between 7:30am – 9am and 11am – 1pm. Enter to win one of:

Entry forms available for pick up from any Paradise Palms vendor starting August 22, but must be submitted on August 28 only, before 12:30pm.

Winners may win one prize only and need not be present at the drawings to win. Winners will be contacted by email. Prizes will be forfeited if not claimed by September 14, 2012.

A new alternative for dining on the mauka Diamond Head side of campus while Paradise Palms is closed:

Da Spot will be barbecuing on the Paradise Palms lanai starting Monday, Feb. 6, from 10am - 2pm
(Da Spot will also continue serving their infamous smoothies at their regular location in the Sustainability Courtyard.)

Hours for the visiting food trucks on Maile Way:

Paradise Palms Café, the indoor/outdoor food court located next to Hamilton Library, will be temporarily suspending its operations after Friday, January 27. The venue will re-open under new management at a later date.

Starting Monday, January 30, and while Paradise Palms is closed during this transition period, Food Services will introduce several popular food trucks to the Mānoa campus, among them Momo Burger and The Curb. These food vendors will be located on Maile Way, mauka of Paradise Palms.

Other recent additions from Food Services are Le Crêpe Café at the Richardson School of Law and BC Burrito at Saunders Hall. They join established vendors Simply Ono, India Café, Papa Lucks, Govindas, Da Spot, Golden River Catering, and L & L Hawaiian Barbecue, as well as the dining options provided by Student Affairs at Campus Center and the residence halls.

Welcome back! Food Services and our wide variety of vendors are looking forward to an amazing Fall Semester.

Starting Monday, August 22nd, BC Burrito will join Food Services line up of vendors. They will be located at the recently renovated courtyard at Saunders Hall. BC Burrito will feature Mexican cuisine, have a commitment to sustainable practices, and has been featured on “Cheap Eats.” Overall, I feel that BC Burrito will round out the variety of choices available through our program.

The “Taste 5” promotion features BC Burrito and other selected vendors. By purchasing an item from any five of our eight select vendors, you will be entered to win some great prizes. Food Services and select vendors will be passing out the “Taste 5” cards. Get the “Taste 5” card stamped, each time you make a qualified purchase from a different vendor and return the card to any qualifying vendor prior September 10, 2011.

Participating vendors include BC Burrito, Da Spot, Golden River, Govinda’s, India Café, L&L, Papa Luck’s, and Simply Ono.
