From the Airport: Travel east on the H-1 freeway. Take the University exit (Exit 24B). Stay in the far right lane heading north on University Avenue. Take a right on Dole Street at the first light. Take another immediate right on to Lower Campus Road.
From Waikiki: Head north towards Ala Wai Boulevard. Travel west on Ala Wai Boulevard (one-way street) and make a right turn at McCully Street. Take a right at the first light on to Kapiolani Boulevard. Take a left at University Avenue. Stay in the far right lane heading north on University Avenue. Take a right on Dole Street. Take another immediate right on to Lower Campus Road.

Parking is available at no charge during the University of Hawaiʻi, Mānoa Commencement ceremonies in the lower campus parking structure as well as the lots on the main campus.
Parking is restricted in the areas behind the Stan Sheriff Center and around the Les Murakami Baseball Stadium. The parking lots in the Student Housing areas are restricted for permit holders only. Stalls marked with a Reserved Parking sign are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The lower campus parking structure is expected to fill up quickly for the Baccalaureate Ceremony. When the parking structure is full, drivers will be directed to park in the lots on the main campus.
Drivers will be directed by parking attendants on the main campus to the available lots. As each lot fills, the attendants will direct drivers to the next available lot. They will continue to do this until all lots are full.
The lower campus parking structure provides adequate spaces for the Advanced Degrees Ceremony.
Accessible parking stalls in the lower campus parking structure and in the main campus lots are limited. The majority of these accessible stalls are located on the third floor of the Diamond Head side of the lower campus parking structure. With the remaining accessible stalls distributed on each floor of the ʻEwa side of the lower campus parking structure and throughout the lots on the main campus. Parking attendants will be able to provide directions to drivers needing accessible parking. A valid Department of Transportation placard is required to park in these stalls.
Parking shuttle service will be provided for the Baccalaureate Ceremony only. No shuttle service will be provided during the Advanced Degree Ceremony.
The shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible and run a continuous route from the Biomedical Science Building to Krauss Circle. The lower campus areas are accessible by crossing Dole Street and proceeding to the elevators on the top floor of the parking structure.
All stops along this route will be marked with the RAINBOW SHUTTLE STOP signs.

- Physical Science Building
- Art Building
- Krauss Circle
- Kuykendall Hall
- Watanabe Hall
- Jefferson Hall
- Center for Korean Studies
- Biomedical Science Building
For the return trip, passengers may board the shuttles at Krauss Circle. Please be aware that the length of time for the shuttles to return to this area may vary according to the amount of traffic along the route.
Graduates and participants should anticipate heavy traffic and plan accordingly for ample time to get to their designated staging area. Vehicle access around this staging area will be restricted and passenger drop off will not be allowed in this area.
Passengers may be dropped off on the ground floor between the lower campus parking structure and the Athletic Complex. For concerns of safety, please do not drop off passengers in the middle of the road or along areas with heavy traffic.
After the ceremony a passenger pick up area is available in the
parking lot on the first base side of the Les Murakami Baseball Stadium.
Drivers may access this lot by informing the attendants that they
will be picking up their passengers. Again for safety concerns, please
do not stop along the road during heavy traffic.
