Western Undergraduate Exchange

The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is a program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Students who are residents of WICHE states may enroll at UH Mānoa at a reduced tuition rate.

Qualifications

To attend UH Mānoa as WUE student, you must:

  • Apply and be accepted as a degree-seeking undergraduate student
  • Be a resident of one of the following states:
    • Alaska
    • Arizona
    • California
    • Colorado
    • Idaho
    • Montana
    • Nevada
    • New Mexico
    • North Dakota
    • Oregon
    • South Dakota
    • Utah
    • Washington
    • Wyoming

Note: Second bachelor's degree, architecture, nursing, and dental hygiene program applicants are not eligible for WUE.

To Apply

To apply for the WUE program, complete the freshman or transfer admission process and the WUE Application (PDF): 2012-2013, 2013-2014.
